Drawing Inks pear artwork

Inks provide a beautiful medium for artwork, have a look why!

What you need:

  • Roymac Rains Watercolour Paper
  • Roymac Achiever Round size 12
  • KIN Drawing Ink Pots

Step-by-step

Step 1: Ghost Painting

Start by dipping the brush into the water and ‘ghost paint’ the shape of the pear onto the page. This just means paint the shape onto the paper with water. Let the water spread across the whole shape of the pear but make sure there are some parts kept dry.

 

Step 2: Bring in the ink

Now taking the KIN inks, just drop the ink from the nib onto the tip of the pear and allow the ink to flood with the water.

 

Step 3: Complete the pear

Draw around the outline of the pear and let the ink flood in to the centre of the pear creating “happy accidents”. Let the artwork dry and then show it off for all to see!
