Make a spooky Halloween scene

Halloween is almost here so it’s time to start decorating!

Set the scene for a spooky halloween by colouring some black and white paper with awesome materials.

What you need:

Micador Besties Washable Marker Mates Spooky
Micador Create It Art Pad Black & White
Micador Large Oil Pastels Metallic
Micador Sizzle Scissors yellow
from around the house: glue, coloured paper for the backdrop

Step-by-step

Step 1: Make it shine

Colour in some black paper from your Create It Art Pad with Micador Large Oil pastels Metallic. Use as many colours as you want, in any pattern or design.

Step 2: Chop

Lay the template page provided over the top of the black page you’ve coloured and cut out the designs along the dotted line.

Step 3: Spooky decorations

Use the Spooky Besties to colour in some detail on the shapes you’ve cut out. Add shadows, outlines, shapes or patterns.

Step 4: Stick

Using some glue or sticky tape, stick your shapes on a coloured piece of paper, this will be your back drop.

Step 5: Spooky scene

Set up your spooky scene by sticking the back drop on a wall.

Step 6: The characters

Once you have stuck your shapes onto the background it’s time to add your spooky character Besties to the scene!

Handy Tip

It’s always good to colour in or decorate a piece of paper before you cut the shapes out. That way you don’t have to worry about staying inside the lines!
