What you need:

  • Micador For Artists PermaPainters – Laneway and White
  • Wine bottles
  • Eucalyptus oil
  • Twine
  • Craft glue/ glue gun
  • Candles or fairy lights
Step

Step 1: Clean the bottle

Clean all labels and alcohol from the bottle by soaking it in warm soapy water. You can use eucalyptus oil to help get off any sticky residue that is left behind from the labels.
Step

Step 2: Draw!

Using the Micador For Artists PermaPainters, start drawing on your design. You can use paper tape to block out some areas and try some resist art!
Step

Step 3: Fill in

Fill in your drawings. You can colour over the paper tape and just pull away to reveal your clean lines. The eucalyptus oil is also good for wiping away the PermaPainters if you make a mistake or need to clean up your artwork.
Step

Step 4: Add some light!

Add some twine to the top of your bottle. If you don’t have a glue gun or craft glue, double sided tape also works well to attach the twine. Put in some copper fairy lights to light up your bottle! Or add a candlestick to the top.
